It’s that time of year to spend more time with your grill! Why not make your desserts on it too? Here’s a great recipe from our friends at Broil King:

A sweet but refreshing dessert for any time of year. This was Ted Sr.’s favourite.

1 whole pineapple, quartered and sliced

1/2 cup maple syrup

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp Grand Marnier™

Quarter a fresh pineapple lengthwise, remove core, cut in 1/2″ slices, and cut along shell to separate the slices. Keeping the slices on top of the shell, place the quarters shell side down on a preheated barbecue. Grill on MEDIUM for 15 minutes, or until heated through.

Combine the remaining ingredients in a small bowl, and baste the pineapple with this mixture every 5 minutes.
